I Love It!!

I am very picky about totes and bags in general, but this bag is my absolute favorite!
The material is sturdy, the zipper is smooth as butter when you zip up, the metal is strong and reliable, and it has a solid cushioned bottom so the bag doesn’t sag or damage my electronics! Thank you Analog Company for such an amazing product!

very cute and functional

sturdy, well-designed, and cute! my only issue is the shoulder strap gets uncomfortable if the items in tue bag are heavy (full hydroflask, laptop, book(s), etc) but overall I love it!

Is this the perfect bag?

I have exactly one complaint about this bag: it is TOO sturdy.

I bought it to replace a cheap canvas tote from [Popular Australian Department Store] which fell apart after three months. It has all the features I loved about that bag, and more -- more pockets, more space. A water bottle holder? Amazing.

But it's so well made. So strong. I can feel the strength of the stitches. This may not fall apart for YEARS.

Love it!!

I got my new bag and I absolutely love it. It is well made with good materials. I used it as my airport carry on and it worked great!

Great but there’s room for improvement

I was very excited to get this bag, and had hoped that some of the more critical reviews would be exaggerated. Although it did meet my overall expectations, I think this bag is still a work in progress as it still needs some improvements.

the Pros:
+ Exactly how you’d expect from the pictures
+ High quality, thick fabric; good craftsmanship, definitely does not come off as amateurish
+ Fits A LOT of stuff
+ Very cute and stylish
+ The size isn’t actually too big. For reference I’m 5’2” and the bag is a pretty nice size.

And now,
the Cons:
- As this is supposed to be a laptop bag, the actual structure of the bag should be able to accommodate that. The shoulder strap needs to be padded and have more support, especially since you’ll be carrying things in addition to your laptop, which is already heavy enough.
- The bag is big, but it doesn’t have nearly enough the compartmentalisation to match its size. Let me explain: if you have a big bag, you’re automatically going to want to put more stuff into it; if you’re a student like me, there’s going to be some stationery and trinkets clutter in the bag. Therefore, it needs pockets. Way more pockets. The inside of this bag only has 3 pockets. One for the laptop, which can also hold some paper and maybe magazines; another for the water bottle, which can be quite difficult to access if you have a lot of stuff in your bag already. The third pocket is just a general pocket, which just gets messy very easily.

I know I may have made it out to look like there’s a lot wrong with this bag, but if you look again, there’s only two main disadvantages. Keep in mind, I’m a small woman, so the bag will probably be less comfortable for me than for someone who is, say, 6 foot. Overall, if you’re not someone who tends to like to carry a shiton of stuff everywhere you go or if you don’t intend on travelling very far with this bag, I’d say go for it. I know I’ve just rambled, but this bag has a lot of promise and is still probably better than all the other bags I’ve ever had.
