After The Analog Backpack sold out, we received feedback from our customers that they would like the backpack to be made slighty bigger to fit larger laptops comfortably. We have now made this new Backpack just 1 inch taller and wider. It is designed to hold your daily essentials with the following features:
- Padded laptop and iPad compartment
- Pocket on bag strap for small items
- Hidden pocket for important items
- Pocket within the front pocket for extra security
- Carabiner to clip in keys, rings and other small items
- Elasticized water bottle holder
- Luggage strap to slot backpack through luggage handles
The Analog Backpack is crafted with a water repellent canvas material.

Care Instructions:
The Analog Bag is made from a cotton canvas material, known for its durability and eco-friendliness. To preserve its shape, functionality and quality, clean your canvas bag by wiping it gently with a damp, warm, white towel and allow it to air dry. For tougher stains, wash by hand with a mild detergent. To preserve the water repellent quality of the canvas, do not soak.
Note: The bag does not come with pins and patches. To select your own customized set, please add them individually to cart.
I'm very picky about my bags and finally bought the large Analog bag after researching allllll the big brands. All the features are very thoughtful and it's super cute as a work bag. Unfortunately my laptop (2019 16" MBP) doesn't quite fit in the laptop pocket (it does, but corners stick out) but that was my own mistake because I didn't measure first. Honestly was looking for a cute bag that could sit upright on its own, wouldn't make me look like a turtle, could hold a large water bottle (and it can hold TWO), and is water resistant since I live in a rainy area.
If I had some suggestions to make it into my "perfect" bag:
- Add some kind of finger loop to the outside of the water bottle pockets so you can provide countertraction when putting a large bottle in. My 40oz Hydroflask fits perfectly but it's sometimes awkward to get in
- Redesign the chest straps...I'm a petite person but even with them fully extended it's a tight fit when wearing a coat, which seems weird because there is enough material there, it just can't extend more.
- Crazy suggestion but would love a way to convert the chest strap into a hip belt if needed. Maybe some kind of buckle system that lets you interchange them? A hip belt is way more supportive when you have a heavy load.
- I haven't used the luggage strap yet but my pet peeve is a wimpy luggage strap...could be wider, but at least it's on there!
- Larger opening to the hidden pocket on the back, and make the pocket larger in general
- Would love an additional organization pocket on the interior
Overall, super happy with the design and construction of this bag. I can tell it was designed by a woman :) Can't wait to buy my next Analog bag!
I love it sooo much! It is super cute and easily stores all of my things for work. I feel super organized and cute with it!
This is my second purchase after using my tote bag almost every day for over a year with it looking just like the day I got it. The quality is amazing like last time and I’m super excited to use this backpack for a long time :-) love the colors!
Theres a lot to love about this bag - the colours are perfect, I like the zips, and the elastic side pockets are a welcome touch. The canvas fabric is high quality, and everything feels built to last. I've had a lot of fun decorating with pins and keychains.
I do wish it was just a little bigger: it does fit my 16 inch Macbook Pro (which essentially maxes out the laptop dimensions listed) but only barely! I have to pull the top of the bag over the corners of the laptop to make it fit, its very tight. Good enough for me though, it has become my daily work bag. It holds just enough to get me through my day, and is comfortable to wear.
I probably would not recommend this bag for school students who need to carry a lot of books, it's just not quite big enough for that in my opinion. But as a travel bag, work bag or anything else, it's lovely.
